Action By Adam Mortimer
There was a man on stage. His presence was commanding. In front of an audience of about 300 people he pulled out a one hundred dollar bill. He asked, “who wants it?” He stood on stage for a while asking the same question over and over, “who wants it?”
Hands would go up with people claiming that they wanted the money but it wasn’t until a man close to the front stood up and got on stage and took the money that the presenter gave it away. The presenter smiled as he handed the man one hundred dollars for simply getting up out of his chair, walking on stage, and he taking the money.
The presenter said, “look at all the people that are here and there was only one that had the courage to take action! It is this one that will go home one hundred dollars richer!” It is the action takers that make the difference in the world, not all the people that sit and wish and hope but it is the ones that make things happen that create wealth. At the time I was one of the people sitting in the chair. I remember looking back on that experience thinking if I had only gotten up out of my chair I would have been a hundred dollars richer! That would have been so easy for me to do but I didn’t. I made a decision that I was not going to ever be caught not taking action! I am not going to wait for opportunity to knock I am going to opportunities house and break down the doors! I decided to make things happen. May you learn from my wise mentor and never let a good opportunity pass you by again!

Procrastination Bug By Adam Mortimer
Stress and the blues can cause procrastination. As I researched the causes of procrastination I was surprised to find that stress and having a case of the blues is linked to the procrastination bug. It makes a lot of sense. If you are not feeling good, you are not going to want to do anything. Not doing anything will only make things worse. There is a saying that, an object and rest will remain at rest. If you want to fight against the procrastination bug, you must guard yourself against the things that make you feel blue or stressed. Keeping up on things like your spiritual, mental, and physical health is absolutely essential. How much time during the day do you take to unwind? When you feel sluggish physically because you have been putting junk into your miraculous body or you have not been giving it the proper exercise the procrastination bug is at your door. Procrastination is a devil that will tempt you to take care of it latter. It must be overcome today if you want a successful tomorrow. Use the mindset techniques that we have discussed in the beginning of this year to overcome the procrastination bug.
Yard Sales By Adam Mortimer
With a down economy many are looking for ways to make some extra money. 300 dollars for many can mean the difference between success and failure with your finances. Yard selling is not for everybody, it can be that little extra that makes all the difference. Remember it is all about multiple sources of income! It is by small and simple things that great things are brought to pass. For those interested in yard selling craigslist is going to be your best friend. You can find a list of all the upcoming yard sales on craigslist and you can prioritize what ones to hit first to minimize your time and travel. You are looking for things that you can buy cheap enough to resale. Liz, one of my former students went out for the first time and she bought a saddle for 50 dollars at a yard sale she spent some time cleaning it up, then she turned around and sold it for 150 dollars not a bad profit for two hours of work. If you are looking for a little extra money or maybe you just want a new hobby, yard selling could be for you.

Iphone Apps By Adam Mortimer
Smart phones are the way of the future. Like the internet wave that hit back in the 90’s the smart phone wave has many parallels. For those looking to make some residual income, Iphone apps can be a great way of doing that. When I started developing iphone applications it was as simple as putting a help wanted add on craigslist for iphone app programmers. Much to my surprise I received a lot of inquiries about the add. I finally picked the programmer who had the most experience at best cost. Once I received the base code, I thought to myself, what if I were to program 100’s of these programs with this same code. This could be a great way to reduce my expenses and therefore increase my profitability. I am currently working on having about 60 apps by the end of this year. Each app does not need to make a whole lot of money for me for this to be very lucrative. Even if each app only makes 10 dollars a day, when you have 60 apps making 10 dollars a day that is 600 dollars a day or 16,800 dollars a month. If this is something that you are interested in, listen to the conference call on the 9th of March 2010. It has been a huge blessing for me and it can be for you too!
Robert Kiyosaki and the Dead Cat Bounce
Robert Kiyosaki continues to have a somewhat pessimistic (and realisic) outlook on the future of the market and economy. He says that we have been in a bear market rally, meaning a temporary upswing in a longer downward tread and that we could be in the middle of a dead cat bounce. Click on the link and read his article and then ask yourself what it means to you if he’s right and what steps you could take now to prepare.
