Pleasure and Pain By: Adam Mortimer

August 3rd, 2010 | Category: Blogroll

Virtually every action that we take is motivated by pleasure or pain. Perhaps you have had the experience of starting a new diet only to realize a few weeks into it your motivation leaves you. Why is this? Why is it that you started out so excited only to be left with nothing a few weeks later? If you understand the two human motivators pleasure and pain, then you are about to crack the code to unlimited motivation. Imagine being able to get motivated naturally. This would make losing weight, making more money or anything else that you wanted to do a whole lot easier. Here is what you need to do. You must fake it till you make it. In other words, you must take the action that you are associating pain with and start to associate it with pleasure. How do you do that? Instead of saying things like it is hard to find the time to work out. Working out is painful. I do not like working out. You would say something like this, the more I workout the better I feel the better I feel the more I workout. What ever habit you want create start associating it with pleasure. Is it hard for you to get motivated to do something that is pleasurable? No, you are naturally motivated to do things that you enjoy! Start associating pleasure with money and more money will come your way!

Get Clear By Adam Mortimer

July 15th, 2010 | Category: Blogroll, Graduate Call Podcast, Vision & Goals

You mean some people cannot visualize! I was shocked that one of my students had a hard time visualizing. This puzzled me at first but we soon found out why. She had so much baggage from past experiences she had a hard time really believing that she was worth it. As we discussed some of the things that caused her to feel this way I gave her the challenge to work on her self-esteem. I believe true unshakable self-esteem comes from knowing your true nature. You are a child of the divine. You have unlimited potential. So many people struggle in life because they have not come to that most basic knowledge. We talked about the steps in the law of attraction mainly, know what you want, Get clear, and feel what it is going to feel like once you have accomplished your goal. Then let go and follow impulse of thought. I would like to take a moment and thank Dr. Joe Vitale. This man is fantastic at what he does. His book The Attractor Factor helped me to understand the law of attraction on a deeper level and for that I thank him. This student was really struggling with getting clear. She could not get past her limiting belief. She was having a hard time believing that she is worth it. I assured her that she is worth it and that great things want to come into her life but she needs to open the door. She needs to stop remembering the past pain that she felt she needed to let go and forgive. I gave her some challenges this week and I believe she is well on her way to overcoming her limiting beliefs. It is truly exciting when you get to the point that you really believe that you life does not have limits. Truly we only have the limits we are accept. If you feel like you have tried to live the law of attraction and have not gotten the results you want, then check out the elective class, The Secrets To Attracting Money and also check out another book by Dr. Vitale Zero Limits. God bless, and may these books take your prosperity to a whole new level!

Act As If By Adam Mortimer

February 2nd, 2010 | Category: Blogroll

How often do we act as if we are going to be wealthy? The great philosopher Aristotle understood this. If you want to be you have to act. If you want to have you have to act. We have one of the greatest God given gifts and that is the ability to act and not to be acted upon. If you want to be wealthy act wealthy. Acting builds habit and habits or what we do consistently makes us who we are. Get in the habit of acting. This is your time. There has never been in the history of mankind been so much opportunity to learn and grow and become wealthy. We live in the world of abundance. It is your time to shine! It is time to act!

Put It All Together By: Adam Mortimer

February 2nd, 2010 | Category: Blogroll, Vision & Goals

We have been talking a lot about mindset and I have introduced some powerful goals that will help you to accomplish the goals that you are setting. There are four basic steps that will help you get what you want. The first step is to live in the spirit of gratitude. You have probably been to a wealth seminar or at least read a book on creating wealth. Isn’t it interesting that almost all of those articles talk about being positive? Positivity I believe is in it’s purest form when we are grateful. Being in a grateful state of mind allows you to be more creative when you are looking for ways to make more money. Gratitude is vital to your long term financial success. Having a vision is a powerful thing. As I have studied the mind and have discovered some of the secrets that make it work I have found that the mind is greatly influenced by images. You have probably heard the saying a picture is worth 1000 words. Finding images of things that remind you of your goals and putting them somewhere where you are going to see them on a daily basis is vital. Your mind will respond to these images in direct proportion to the belief that you put into it. As Napoleon Hill once said “Anything the mind of man can conceive and believe it can achieve. Writing down you goals helps you to achieve clarity and focus. Without clarity and focus you may find your motivation lacking. Visualizing your goal and speaking good positive affirmations to yourself on a daily basis is powerful! This will change your life! Lets recap on the four things that you need to do!

Gratitude: Being grateful for the good things and bad things will open your mind to money making opportunities. Grateful people see opportunities where others only see the lack thereof.

Vision Board: Make sure that you have a board of images of things that remind you of your financial goals. Images are powerful! A picture is worth 1000 words.

Write it down: Write down your financial goals make sure you are being specific. Write down specific amounts and how you plan on obtaining that money. Make sure that all of your goals have a deadline!

Visualize and feel: Wow, this one is so powerful if you can see and feel how life is going to be after you have achieved your goals you will find it easier to accomplish your goals!

So, put it all together, take action and make this work for you!
